Introducing.............The Backdrafts!

The Backdrafts are a 5 piece Rock band from Norfolk.
They are all serving firefighters for Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service and they are FANTASTIC (ok I'm a little biased)
Lead Guitarist James Little (Him indoor's) , Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist, Andy "Higgy" Heginbotham, Vocalist and Bass Guitarist Dave Pleszko, Duncan Barrow Keyboards and Percussion and Scott |Field Drummer started playing together January 2013 and have quickly become favourites on the local pub scene performing covers of Rock music from the 1950's to the present day as well as some very finely self penned fire safety messages "Smoke Detector Blue's" and "Stop, Drop, Rock & Roll!"

Well today was a special day today..........

They had their first audition for

especially as the perform in full fire kit!

Ms November Pin-up Challenge.

Kas Mello, Bombshell's Ms. November, has issued her challenge,
"Rough Chicks, Bikes, and Leather".
Not all girls are into pink and bows, some are covered in grease and have helmet hair. Motorcycles are always a good girly accessory, and what biker chick doesn't love leather?

Unfortunately I don't have any "rough chicks" in my Bombshell Stamps collection so just went for the Bikes and Leather bit instead. I've used brown parcel wrapping paper which I crumpled and torn into small pieces  then covered a piece of card stock using watered down P.V.A. glue all over. After allowing to dry I rubbed over with some "Aged Mahogany" Distress Ink
I then embossed and distressed the edges before mounting the images.
